You can start any of our list of over 340 virtual walks worldwide. Some are small city routes and some are International walks.
All of our routes are curated and mapped out using Google Maps, including professional photographs and short descriptions of each milestone. As such, users can unfortunately not create their own virtual walks from scratch, however we would be more than happy to take a note of any suggestions you might have.
If you have a particular need for a new virtual walk, we would be happy to look into this for you to see if we could help. As a tiny, volunteer-led charity, we would hope you would be willing to make a donation to covers the costs of images and the admin time to curate a new route. PS 2021 COVID-19 Update (9 February 2021)
Our charity has seen a huge increase in interest in using World Walking due to COVID-19, including almost daily requests to create bespoke routes.
We are keen to help as many as possible but due to this unprecedented demand we are unable to consider creating any more bespoke routes for the moment.
I am sorry we cannot help you at this time. I hope you find a nice alternative among our ready-to-use routes.
