Cornwall

Cornwall is a ceremonial county in South West England which forms the tip of the South West Peninsula of the island of Great Britain.

The county, which includes the Isles of Scilly, is bordered to the north and west by the Celtic Sea, to the south by the English Channel, and to the east by Devon with the River Tamar forming the border between them.

Its south-westernmost point is Land's End and its southernmost is Lizard Point.

The county town is Truro, Cornwall’s only city.

Atrractions include the popular seaside resorts of Newquay and St Ives, the Eden Project, St Michael's Mount and Tintagel Castle.

Cornwall is part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape UNESCO World Heritage Site.
