As the demand for behavioral health services becomes overwhelming in scale, and significant health concerns over mental health workers burnout reach an all-time high, it’s time we recognize the pandemic’s latent and lasting implications on mental health care workers in this country. Physical activity has a huge potential to enhance our wellbeing. Even a short burst of 10 minutes' brisk walking increases our mental alertness, energy and positive mood. Participation in regular physical activity can increase our self-esteem and can reduce stress and anxiety and significantly improve our mood. So lets explore and create our own difference for ourselves and others.
