A little about us
The COVID-19 pandemic has led teachers to an unpredictable scenario where the lockdown situation has accelerated the shift from traditional to online educational methods, and relationships have been altered by the avoidance of direct contact with the others, with implications for their mental health. Physical activity seemed to be a factor that could prevent mental disorders such as anxiety or depression in this certain situation. Therefore, the aim of this walking group/club is to explore ways to increase our work, family, and social relationships, by increasing our physical activity...walking! Walk after school with a coworker. Walk with your family before or after school. Walk to your local DQ with friends and/or family. Ask your neighbors to go for a stroll through the neighborhood.
